2. License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use FXCanvas software subject to the following terms:

Perpetual License: Use the software indefinitely on the number of machines specified by your license tier
Personal/Commercial Use: Use for personal projects or commercial productions as permitted by your license type
Updates: Receive software updates for the duration specified in your license

3. License Restrictions

You may NOT:

Share, distribute, or transfer your license key to others
Use the software on more machines than your license permits
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
Use the software for any illegal purpose
Sublicense, rent, or lease the software to third parties

4. Machine Activations

Your license allows activation on a specific number of machines. You may deactivate a machine through your account portal to free up an activation slot. Abuse of the activation system may result in license suspension.

5. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and license key. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Payment and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Our refund policy:

Refund requests within 14 days of purchase may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Refunds are not available after the software has been activated
We recommend trying the demo version before purchasing

7. Software Updates

We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the software. Some updates may be required for continued use. We reserve the right to modify features and functionality.

8. Intellectual Property

FXCanvas software, including all code, graphics, user interface, and documentation, is owned by FXCanvas and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your license does not grant ownership of the software.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FXCANVAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR YOUR LICENSE.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately if you breach these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and destroy any copies in your possession.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
